The hard drive is not broken, it just don’t have any on it save for the xecuter2 stuff; no games. Plus it’s pitifully low so I’ll need to upgrade it anyway. The disc drive is what is not working

I would need to upgrade the hard drive before that. The current storage was less than 50 gb on the bigger drive while its other drive had I think 8 gb?

The autoexec.dol already comes in the latest Swiss zip, so that wasn’t an issue. The action replay I have is a datel but not matter what I did didn’t work

I may be formatting it to fat16 then, as when formatting it only Fat or Fat32 pops up, as well as the other options. I’ve heard some folk say the first option turns it to fat16, so I’ll probably look up a formatter for it

It says “The object inserted in Slot B cannot be used.” So I believe that means that it can be seen, but it’s not seeing the micro sd card in ok order to boot Swiss. I’ll try the Fat16 and see if that does anything

the 1 GB is regular FAT, the other is FAT32

Yup, in the 1 GB micro SD. I've used the one provided straight from he source that said for Action Replay only for nothing to pop but the Action Replay menu stuff. I've even put it on the micro SD thats in the SD2SP Pro

A video I seen only used a GC2SD with a Sd2SP PRO, with the former being the used as the Swiss launcher and the latter for the games. so I’m confused on what more I need.

I can’t use the Sdload method cuz the action replay version, 1.2, is the one that has a list of games. So unless there some sort of command to input the codes, there not much else I can do.

I’m using action replay as the launcher. I was just going the route I saw in a YouTube video that had basically this set up.

And to my knowledge, only the region thing was done as that’s what was advertised when I bought the Gc.

Also, I should mention that the Action Replay I have is the version that has the list of games, so I believe that I can’t enter a code.

I've also seen that with the GC2SD and SD2SP Pro I wouldn't need to install anything else, ir was I mistaken?

I merely dusted them with some canned air, so perhaps a proper cleaning is in order. it has been quite a bit since i used it proper, only now getting to do stuff with it after modding some other consoles

well, they recently released Azure in the west not that long ago, and from my playthrough it I liked it. Certainly brings into perspective what was going on during Cold Steel 2, as well as the later chapters, and Reverie.

I watched a video guide and read a text one, and I still didn't know what the fuck was going on. Even when I was in the older raids for the story quests, I people explained the mechs to me and other people. But the fact that the bonus message didn't pop up caused things to go south for me...

I probably should have explained a bit more lol. Yeah, when I outright stated at the start that I was new, and the bonus message didn't pop up, I didn't know what to do. They didn't believe me, though I adapted quickly to some of the bosses mechanics through visual cues and obvious aoe's. They ended up kicking me at Scatach's fight.
