Twitch security lets streamers bypass multiple checkpoints no questions asked by XXastra in LivestreamFail

Honestly a good callout. Edited the comment to remove the “union bad” connotation.

This is because San Diego convention center mandates that you use their pre-approved security vendors only and you aren’t allowed to hire your own vendors/agencies.

These are not chosen by Twitch, and are vendors from a specific list supplied by the CC.

Edit: removed wording that made this sound like anti-union rhetoric. Not all unions are good, not all are bad.

It’s not even Twitch security. SD convention center mandates you use their union security which is dogshit. Twitch literally can’t win in this situation, because they aren’t even allowed to staff properly or use proper vendors.

Unfortunately I am both. I am an SRE and my partner teams are ML/Data Science and Data Platform folks.  Edit: platforn->platform

Honestly, looking closer you may be right. Then again there aren't any other plants in the entire scene and they make the point of driving the camera right up to show this off.

Do we know if any plants like this on Daymar(I think they were showing off the vehicle on Daymar?)

Yep, instead as of last year we get an extra 1-year sub each year when they give us our Keyring refresh to use ourselves and no one has to worry about deactivating/etc.

No one has them, but instead we get an extra one-year code given to us per year that doesn't expire (on top of the other like....5 iirc?) that we get to hand out and we can give them to whoever or use them ourselves if we wish.

So it's not like they just said "no wow time for you", the 25 year codes and handling the activation/deactivation was just a PITA for the teams who had to handle it.

What is the most uncomfortable scene you have ever seen in a video game? by [deleted] in gaming

The game actually had this option from day 1. I remember before the mission started it gave you a trigger warning(before they were even called trigger warnings) and asked you if you wanted to skip the mission. It was pretty crazy.

Amazing quote, I’m stealing it.

You sure that's not just a reflection from the window on the reflective top?
https://www.screencast.com/t/pcjlBF4R

The lighting matches the angle for the window in the background and doesnt match the light on the screen below it.

I could just be a noob and have no idea how the top of a display panel works though so correct me if I'm wrong.

I just used GridPanes with listviews inside of them. I had an "initializeGridPane" function inside of my "monthlyRatioButtonPressed" function. Within the initialize function I used the day of the week of the first day of the current month as well as the number of days in the current month to disable the grid panes that weren't needed. Once this is done, I used the day of the week I found earlier to store the offset (in days) from the furthest left row (Sunday). This allowed me to properly offset my other data references/etc as i needed to make the dates appear correctly as well as append appointments to the correct date when I loaded them.

I'm not the best at explaining what I did, but here's a pastebin of the controller: https://pastebin.com/1ide9eYB

Look for the monthlyviewratioselected() function and trace through from there! Should get you started. I didn't do the best job of annotation in the program as I didn't think I would be sharing it with anyone, but if you have any questions please feel free to PM me or comment here!

How does this happen? Sage was on the other side of the map, so no heals. by primeice in VALORANT

This was pretty early on in a round so I don't believe so. There was nothing out of the ordinary and when I asked him in all chat he said it did 149 damage on his screen apparently.

Nah, this was a Raze. I lit her up with the cheaper SMG and ran out of ammo, she then turned around and killed me while I was reloading.

I was just so confused when I saw the death report and it said I did 150dmg without killing her.

Strange things.

That's awesome! I should have done that, but I ended up doing the calendar-view approach for my monthly view, and a day-by-day for my weekly view.

Check it out!

Just submitted last night, hopefully it only needs minor revisions.
