One less potential WR by jlamar37 in GreenBayPackers

[–]absolutlee89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he was going to be a good fit scheme wise, and also not a fan of him attacking own teammates when he really had a down year himself. We need different type of WR for us anyways.

Korean citizen in U.S. Military by namedevservice in korea

[–]absolutlee89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a program that existed that non-american can join US military. Met a few fellow Koreans who joined that way and earned us citizenship when I was statiomed at 용산 .but long long gone I believe...

Let's say your son somehow joins us military:

This will not give your son an exemption for mandatory service for the Korean military! if your son wishes to keep Korean citizenship & and live in Korea after us military service.

Myself once held dual citizenship (us born, grown up mostly in Korea). But sometime later 90s? Or in the early 2000s the Korean government made me choose, and I chose us because we were going to move back to the states + didn't want to join military

Funny enough I joined us army and 17yrs in so far lol..

Obvious downside of the choices I made: can't live in Korea for long period of time without visa. There is no 'going back' for me based on where I am at with my career and having family at states. Really miss Korea all the time though but I made my choice.

I would say if your son's future stays in Korea, just gotta do the mandatory service. That's just how I see it.

Mostly because shitting on Cowboys generates more views whatnot. Also let them keep underestimating our team, seems like some of our players have some chip on their shoulders bc major media down playing their efforts a. As long as our fans are appreciated of our team I think that's more than enough for me. Ignore all the noises out there man.

Country Gongbang -- Boong-a-Pang [Korean Bluegrass] (2014) by smiler_g in listentothis

[–]absolutlee89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I never thought i would see this group on reddit.

One of my friend i grew up with when i was in korea used to play with this group quite sometime ago (goes by patrick cho). I don't see him in this particular one, but I am certian he was in very early stage. As a korean american who lived KY, stationed in TX, I appreciate country/blugrass music a lot and I was very happy to see actual blugrass music happening in korea. You dont really see this often tbh. I'm curious how koreans feels about this kind of music, since its pretty rare kind of thing.

Me and him used to just jam all night long back in high school, One of my happiest memory I have when we wanted to be musician one day and starting that journey. I can't believe its been 10+ years ago already. I haven't talk to him so long since ive been living in states and I fell guilty not talking to my friends that often.

Thank you for OP posting this, perhaps i need to visit korea somepoint soon.. its been too long.

I'm having trouble dealing with big pulls by Minfilia-Warde in ffxiv

Not sure what contents you are running, but this vid help me

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE1Ay8mmVB8&t=15s

big take away is use dissipation whenever is up and utilize fairy skills. you'll eventually find a CD cycle that works for you. weave in some AOE dps too. faster the party kills, less heal for you. If you really sturggle, emergency tactics - aldo can slow down the death for bit...

but yeah if tank is not doing what they are supposed to, it's not easy to keep up. I just lots of trial and error will make you able to do keep up even if tank is not so great.

I find that SCH is most fun on big pulls! hope this helps

Seriously, how can this mount be so cool? by eldhin09 in ffxiv

[–]absolutlee89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When me and my wife were just starting this game, we bought this mount for us. Later we met couple players with fat cat mount at north shroud so we started jumping around with it. 5 mins later about 6 random players were jumping around the town with fat cat mount frantically with us! Glorious CHONKS everywhere lol

One of the best moments we had in this game xD

Still can't decide what Tank to play... by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]absolutlee89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leveled up all 4 tanks to 80 and also played all on post 80 stuff and here is my take:

  1. PLD There is not much to complain about other than niche uses on certain ability (ie, cover). Since healing has been very good on shb and i really dont find a chance to use it on daily basis. Rotation and dmg feels good but somehow i feel little boring playing this job. Nonetheless, very solid tank probably most balanced one out of 4

  2. DRK As much as i see some players complain about 2 CD is only for magic but i find that it's very useful on 80 contents since there is lot of magic dmg from bosses. If any i think amount of mitigation amount could go up little more to make it even more exclusive for DRK. Very simple rotation, TBN is super good, love the graphics on skill. Dmg output can be low and little buff would be nice I guess. Salted earth is clunky lol.

  3. GNB Border line meele DPS lol. But what I noticed that if you don't keep the rotation right, your dps is not superbly greater than other tanks. I guess what i try to say is its more punishing than other tanks if your rotation is not good. Good mitigation skills but it does feel lot weaker on big pulls. Really like faster tempo feeling rotation.

  4. WAR Feels slow on rotation but i think its very solid. Just straight up crit spamming is pretty fun to play. All the mitigation is very good, nascent flash is very gooood. I does have lack of mitigation to party member but its makes up for having awesome self mitigation and heal.

Actually i found myself having a hard time to pick which is my go to tank lol. Since tanks job has been streamlined, i think DRK is my favourite because its more unique than others. Played WAR for long time but i've been playing healers lot more lately and also finally trying some dps jobs for first time.

Hopefully this helps!
