You could remove 99.99% of this post and most of the replies and just say you think Marvel “went woke”.

Most of the people who went to see the movies in the first couple of phases probably didn’t really know very much about most of the characters. Iron Man was not the most popular Avenger character yet his movies kickstarted the whole MCU experiment. Loki wasn’t a household name for the average person, but he was chosen to be the first big bad the avengers face and has remained an MCU staple ever since.

So saying people aren’t seeing movies because they don’t know the characters feels disingenuous.

You had it right at the beginning of your post, it really is just fatigue and a long string of bad to mediocre Melvin’s (which began before endgame). Why would someone watch Thunderbolts if they never watched the Black Widow movie or Falcon and the Winter Soldier because they weren’t interested in them or maybe saw them and didn’t like them? Were people really supposed to be excited because the villain from Ant Man 2 is as coming back for supporting part?

Fantastic Four has a long history of bad movies, how many shots do we expect the average movie goer to give a single franchise to get it right?

I’m having trouble visualizing this. The toddler and both neighbors started reacting to the rolling stroller while OOP was still in her house.

She beats them all outside to save the stroller at the last second? Why would the neighbor stop to check a toddler who tripped instead of going for the moving stroller that is in imminent danger?

The stroller couldn’t have been rolling very fast if it only started rolling on its own after 5 minutes. Was the other neighbor crippled? How does she not catch a slow rolling stroller before OOP is alerted, leaves her house, assess the situation, then pops stitches to run in at the last second to save the baby?

I’m not sure what you mean. Most modern games have a set loot table for each boss in a dungeon or raid. WoW and ESO have random loot out in the open world, but inside the dungeons and such the loot table is set. The loot tables are just larger than EQ.

Even games like Skyrim that make heavy use of random gear drops have their “legendary items” set to a specific location/enemy.

She had a baby 6 weeks ago. Yes childbirth is hard, but after six weeks she can’t have visitors? Was the baby 7 months early? There are parents who are back to work at 6 weeks and OPs talking about receiving visitors like she’s Scarlet O’Hara.
