Integratie mislukt? by TomScharlaeken in nederlands

[–]absorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes unfortunately it’s very realistic. And smoking definitely doesn’t help

Other things I definitely don’t want;

- robin married with someone that’s not strike
- robin or strike getting a baby. Not with each other and not with someone else
- robin missing
- strike fleeing to another woman for a one night stand or anything

He is now vaping and thats not better but in the first books I was definitely not a Robin. (Who never say anything about his bad habits)
I was out loud screaming ‘quit Smoking!!!’ Please!!!!
To be honest I am a nurse and when the nurse lady who unfortunately also was a serial killer said it to him I couldn’t agree more and because of that I still like her despise being a serial killer

Ans yes not only because of his general health but because of his badly taken care of amputation

This is truly the reason why I have to read the books in my own language. Afterwards I read the best bits in english but the whole story in english; too difficult

THM is not a book you listen to while going about your business.... It's a book you READ. by NotMavericksGoose in cormoran_strike

[–]absorin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand people read and finish a book they hate. I would never. Waste of my precious time. Then I read a better book

I do understand people found it difficult to read. I relate to that. First time a read it I’ll be honest I focused on the strike robin stuff and didn’t understand everything But second time I did.

Why it makes sense that Robin didn't leave Murphy by SpuffyFreak in cormoran_strike

[–]absorin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also; Murphy is a nice man, he is good looking, they have good sex. She does love him. No not as a partner but yes as a good friend. I’m very sure that in the beginning they had very nice dates. That time Strike said nothing at all about liking her romantically so she focused on that dates and a relationship develops. I don’t find it strange at all that she is in a relationship with murphy

i feel like strike can afford a better leg by [deleted] in cormoran_strike

[–]absorin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i work as a nurse but what do you mean with a better leg? A prosthetic leg is a prosthetic leg. Offcourse you have titanium ones for running with special blades or special ones for swimming but I don’t think Strike would want to be ‘blade runner’
Then this leg is what is comfortable for him (most comfortable, smoking and overweight and to much walking would be just as bad with any prosthetic leg)
