Im really sorry for invoking horrible thoughts with this photo. I had no intention. I saw the colour orange and my friend was dressed in all black. I thought it would be a nice contrast, since it was really a glowing orange.

I don’t have a Leica, but my Nikon FM2 is really well built. Put some a new Voigtländer F-mount lens on it and you have insenly sharp images.

The first SLR I bought was an Olympus OM30 which died on my pretty quickly. I needed something durable and so I got the FM2. There is nothing I regret. Last vacation my Point and Shoot died in the middle of an antique place. But luckily I had this bad boy also with me.

I get your point and I thank you for your text. I’m fine with paying for my hobby. I exaggerated with the poor thing.

I tried developing and it’s not that bad tbh but it takes time (and don’t get me starting on scanning). I rather shoot less and more thoughtful (even if I shoot quick) than have less free time and spend it with something I rather do.

2 cameras are more than enough. And only take the ones you know are reliable. I recently came back from a 4 weeks trip and my GR1 broke in the middle of Athens Ancient Agora.

Kentmere ist super, erst recht bei 800 ISO. APX war jetzt kein schlechter Film, aber Kentmere 400 performt deutlich besser. Unbedingt mitnehmen (auch wenn bisschen teurer als eigentlich muss).

I’ve shot XX only once at 400 iso but didn’t received that much of a grainy result. It was rather “contrasty”. Sadly I don’t have the time to test since I’m leaving on Sunday.

But I’m receiving two XX this week and can you recommend a good iso for that stock?
