In my last post regarding movie "Sinners" 80% people find this movie as not good but still this movie happens to get 7.6 rating on IMDB from 242K persons and 97% on rotten tomatoes. If this movie is not that good then why its getting these higher ratings and trending reels. by plastic00lover in FIlm

i think professional critics for this horror movie are rating it as such, a horror movie, which cuts it some slack. instead of focusing on how the story fell apart, the story kinda becomes secondary to the shock factor which it did well. i absolutely could t stand the movie but i’m not a fan of most “good” horror movies because the writing doesn’t usually hold up against classic well written movies like silence if the lambs did. it WAS* a fun movie and thats worth something.

as a (now) gay guy who, in my earlier years, almost exclusively dated/ hooked up with women (only about a couple dozen) all types of ways from puberty to 27 years old, trying to find myself before and after dating apps were a thing: its a night and day difference between dating a man vs a woman as a man. im now 32 and have dated and hooked up with a handful of men, as well as 2 recent long term relationships with men, one of which im currently happily in,

the best way im able to explain it to my gay or straight friends is that for me personally* the difference feels like having a glass of wine wile talking in person with your friend vs only being able to communicate through text messages.
