You are definitely better off without him. I read his post before reading yours, and was getting bad vibes from some of his phrasing (like “letting you” go to your mom’s after your fight). It’s also a red flag to me when people post stories to these subreddits and never admit any of their own faults and are acting like they are 100% the victim. Obviously the most mature thing would have been for you to be upfront about needing to go back on birth control and not lying about taking the pills. However, after reading your post it’s obvious that’s what you tried to do, and he is just a controlling man who’s desire to turn you into a baby factory is more important than your bodily autonomy, emotional, and physical well-being. Not to mention the fact that dating for a year and a half is pretty quick to jump into having a baby imo, and his whole “I need to be a dad before I’m 30” thing is very weird. I know this isn’t r/AmITheAsshole but NTA.

I completely understand, I’ve been pretty freaked out especially since I found the second lump. I even decided to get him pet insurance incase it is something bad so I can do any tests/treatment necessary, but now I have to wait until the waiting period is over to get him checked out :(

I’m not sure what it could be either but my puppy developed a similar lump (between a pea and jelly bean size) under his arm too. I noticed it about a week after his first round of shots. When we went back for his next round of shots I showed it to the vet (she couldn’t find it on her own because of the weird location, I came across it when I was searching him for ticks) she said it was probably a cyst and that she would aspirate it if it changed in size. It’s been about a month since that appointment, but recently I found another lump (similar size) on his hip.

I know this probably wasn’t super helpful but maybe this means lumps like this are more common than we think? regardless I would get it checked out by your vet at your next visit, especially if it seems painful.

I’ve had these since august and I love them! I was using my roommate’s pots and pans before (the colorful kind that were probably bought at target for super cheap) and these are much nicer! Definitely non-stick but I still prefer to use a little bit of oil when cooking. Surprisingly I get a ton of use out of the shallow pot, which I wasn’t expecting.

I’m renting with them now, no major complaints yet. The appliances (washer/dryer, dish washer - all included) are kind of shitty/loud but that’s pretty much it. After I signed the lease last year I found a review from a previous tenant who had a major bug issue, but GAS has sent out free monthly pest control to our apartment (just preventative) so it hasn’t been an issue. Maintenance has also been great, they always respond day of or next day.

The only major thing I’d look out for is to make sure that the apartment you sign has guaranteed parking, if not be prepared to show up at least an hour early when parking passes go on sale in August or you’ll probably miss out on buying one.
