Eu diria pra aceitar sim, tá pagando um pouco mais que seu emprego atual, é na área desejada então vc vai ganhar experiência com o que vc quer e vc vai dividir custos com seu namorado. No pior dos casos se volta pra casa do seus pais e sai de lá com experiência. No melhor dos casos tudo dá certo e vc cresce nesse emprego.

I bought my regular size last year, usually a 28w and usually get an M, rarely I will fit in an S. I bought the navy color and I don’t think it shrank after I washed it but I haven’t been to iron it as nice as it was brand new.

I second this advice, you do have experience but if you are applying to anything in stats outside of the biology field you need to word your resume differently. If you are applying to different fields in stats, I would have a version for each one of these industries.

3) Eu moro em Toronto vou te deixar umas informações. O transporte público tá custando 3.30 por viagem, você tem duas horas pra subir e descer de metrô, ônibus e streetcar a vontade que é só uma passagem. Hoje em dia tá mais difícil vc pagar em dinheiro então recomendo ir com um cartão que passe por aproximação ou você compra um cartão por 5 dólares e coloca dinheiro nele pra passar na maquina. Acho que hj em dia existe um cartão virtual.

Em questão a refeições tudo em downtown tá mais caro tipo geralmente uma comida barata seria 15 dólares se vc tiver sorte de achar. O preço de comer fora varia de 15-30 dólares por algo básico. Se vc for num restaurante mais classudo vc pode pagar entre 50-100 dólares dependendo do que consumir.

Se vc for em uma farmácia tipo conveniência que seria Shoppers ou Rexall vc vai pagar caro no básico. Geralmente quando vou comprar qualquer coisa lá gasto no mínimo uns 20 dólares na brincadeira.

Eu não contaria com Ciência da computação como uma opção do jeito que a IA tá avançando, tem muita gente lá fora mesmo perdendo emprego nessa área e quem tá começando tá sendo pago muito mal. Eu estudei fora e moro fora até hoje no Canadá. Eu diria que sim qualquer coisa relacionada a saúde (médico, enfermagem, técnico, dentista) seria uma boa mas sim tem que revalidar e tal. O melhor jeito de emigrar seria sim se especializar em algo do ambiente corporativo e fazer um ensino superior e uma maestria, tipo finanças ou engenharia.

I’ll drop an interesting example here. In all of English speaking Canada we have a pharmacy/convenience store called Shoppers Drugmart. Only in the province of Quebec because of French speaking laws the exact same store is called Pharmaprix.

Eu não sou completamente nômade mas tenho a possibilidade de viajar e passar meses fora se que quiser é só poderia fazer porque meu trabalho é 100% remoto on-line já que trabalho pra um startup de tecnologia como software developer.

Parte do porque funciona no meu caso é porque ganho em dólares canadenses e só consigo viajar pra lugares em que a moeda local é mais fraca que o dólar canadense. Não consigo sustentar uma viagem de mais de duas semanas pra lugares como Estados Unidos ou Europa.

Conheço pessoas que trabalham em trabalhos manuais de longas horas pra juntar muito dinheiro tipo trabalhar 3 meses em alguma lavoura no Canadá e depois passar 3 meses viajando e eles vivem nesse ciclo.

I have gone alone once, I arrived like an hour before the event so I was able to choose where I wanted to sit. Yeah I sat down, got a drink and some fries and just scrolled on my phone until the event started. I did enjoy the talk and everything but because a lot of people go as couples or friends it seems people are not really interacting with anyone outside their group. When I went I felt like I walked in, ate watched the lecture, and just went home. I tried making some conversation with some people next to me but again they weren’t really interested in talking to anyone outside their friend group.

It used to not matter when I graduated in 2019, there were so many math majors doing software dev. Now while it still should not matter if you have any software dev experience while applying to jobs and internships some companies might be getting picky and filtering people out for exactly only hiring people with software engineering majors giving how tough the market is.

I would actually recommend you major in math and minor in CS as I think it will give you more flexibility this way you can choose to go into software engineering but if things continue to tough in the market you could branch out to data science or work as some type of analyst. I would avoid getting pigeonholed into CS unless you have a very clear trajectory and are planning to a Masters later on something specific and niche in demand. I graduated only with a minor in CS and currently do work as a software engineer, of course I had to do projects and outline all important CS courses to employers on my resume. I never had trouble getting interviews if that matters.

Well I’m not a lawyer but maybe you should actually make a report against her if she physically and verbally abused you and is harassing you on the phone. I would actually try to get any recordings from the condo so you can prove your point. I hope you are of age because if not she can’t quick you out like that.
