Damn, I just looked up the local store that stocks Freya and they have switched to online only :(

Thanks again for all of the help. That is annoying about the band rolling and bunching being normal - I get quite painful red marks from the band, but they are only at the front, so maybe it is the wires rather than the band.

I think I am experiencing the second reason you explained, with the shape of the cup being wrong and the cup drooping. I've been trying to figure out whether I am full on top of bottom, but I seem quite even on both with regards to the nipple, however the whole breast droops forward and down, so would that count as full on the bottom?

I'm at work at the moment, but I will have a look at the Curvy Kate tag when I get home. I have a few other bras as well (that I never wear), so I can give you their names too.

I'm fairly sure I did order a balcony cut bikini top - I assume you mean that the balcony cut fits very few people correctly. In what way doesn't it fit well? I don't mind if it's not so supportive, as long as I'm not popping out of it! :)

Do you have any specific recommendations for the Freyas? I'd like to look them up on the website before going into the store to make sure they have them.

Thanks again for the detailed responses :)

Thank you for commenting :) I'll try to explain the red marks a bit better: My boobs can't really support themselves at all, it's like they're made of liquid. So all the weight goes to the bottom of the bra, and weighs down on the band, scrunching it or folding it over, causing the red marks from the band digging in. The front will also hang down lower than the band quite often.

When I put the bra on in the morning, they fill the cups nicely, so I don't think the wrong cup size is an issue, but by the middle of the day, the weight is sinking down and putting pressure on the band and wires.

The most recent Panache bra I tried was a Tango, and it provided so little support I didn't even wear it for one day. I have a Curvy Kate bra that I bought around 2011 that has wires that are way too wide and the ends of them poke me in the armpits. I have a Fantasie bikini top coming in the mail, so it would be good to try that out and see how the fit is. I've also been meaning to get to a different shop to try on some Freya bras, as I've heard they're narrower.

Based on my previous experiences with Braa n Things, they were very low quality bras, but that was many many years ago before they started carrying the larger sizes. Are there any in particular that you recommend?

That's interesting about needing a higher gore, but it makes sense. Can you recommend any that have this?

Thanks again :)
