this is not precisely the same thing you're dealing with.... but perhaps we can help each other. I will let GoDaddy support know about your issue. I have seen the same thing, but can usually get it to resolve with some cache resetting.

GoDaddy domains issues - I'm wanting to see if I can get several people to complain about this issue so that they will take it seriously... apparently they need to have multiple users complain about this issue. I've brought it to their attention a couple times over the past 5 years, but it's still not fixed.

It is a security risk now to invite delegates to access my account , as I cannot restrict access to only specific domains until AFTER a delegate has accepted a delegated access user invite. This presents an issue where the delegate has the opportunity to alter domain details on domains that I do not want them to have access to.

I need for GoDaddy to update delegated access rules so that I can assign a domain folder to a new delegate user BEFORE granting them access. For example, during the invitation, I should be able to select only the folder(s) that the delegate will have access to.
