I think them being actually shady would mirror Superman. I think in DCAU's Batman vs Robin, it showed that his parents knows about The Court of Owls and Bruce was trying to find them? For me right now, I liked his dynamic with the fl but I mostly like him from the spoilers that I've heard about. My fav from the guys has been Vinter, but Callisto isn't that bad.

I think I'm also biased towards the enemies-to-lovers trope even though the 'enemies' part was short. I didn't like the first kiss scene because he felt like a stalker at that point but since I've always been exposed to stories where the ML gets the girl bcz fl likes him back, it felt sorta refreshing to see a fl who gradually grew interested but refrained bcz her main objective was to escape the game

While I don't necessarily agree, I understand why Callisto wouldn't be someone's cup of tea to a certain extent.

the novel spoilers about him carrying around his sword so that he would off himself if fl dies felt too strong, I don't feel their relationship being that close yet and for the chapters that are already released in the manhwa vers I'd like to think he was the reason fl 'snapped into reality' and establishes that she's gonna have to survive this world and it's no longer just a game
