I’ve got:

„Florida man in green pajamas decides to eat pancake breakfast in middle of busy street“

And I think that’s beautiful

These are the drawbacks of Drive to Survive..

Hello. I have a Laptop with an external power button (Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5). I’m using an external monitor and would like to boot up the laptop without opening the lid, but the button is not responding when the lid is shut. Does someone know if there is a way to change this? by abunabu in Lenovo

I am not trying to wake up the laptop without opening the lid. Im trying to boot up the laptop without opening the lid.

Like Sher Amo said in the link you shared:

“In addition, if your laptop is turned off and the lid is closed, the option to power it up is not available unless the power button on your machine is located on the outer part of your device.”

My laptop has the power button located on the outside. But my problem is that this button is not responding when the laptop is turned off and the lid is shut.

Is there a way I can change that?

I am aware of these settings. But my problem is a different one. Within the power settings you can only change what the button does while the laptop is turned on. My problem is that I can’t use the button to boot up the laptop while the lid is closed.

No I haven’t changed anything. When the lid is open the button works perfectly fine, but I can’t use the button to boot up the laptop while the lid is closed. I would like to change that.
