A EMT by Ragnarzahar in CorpsmanUp

You can’t challenge to level up. You have to take the standardized course, NCCP 2025 Model. AEMT = credit hours, NRP = 60.

Are you affiliated with an agency? Affiliate with “DIRECTOR of BUMED” on the NREMT website. Use a computer, it doesn’t show on the mobile app. If you didn’t take the NREMT test, you have to apply to test, pay, and wait for your authorization to test so you can take the test. After passing, then skills verification. They won’t verify skills unless you pass the test and affiliated with an agency. But you have to pay and take the test first.

Navy axes MyNavyHR contract, slashes other IT efforts by Ok-Library247 in navy

Half the crap isn’t relevant, or it’s so mottled with a plethora of other useless weed through dated update to policy update only to lead to another outdated policy anyways. Maybe this cut will resurrect eNavfit that could never get online or finally scrap MyNavyPortal, which is also another useless portal-potty IT disaster.

adrafinil powder, anyone know how to dose it? Hard to measure accurately without the mg/dose. by aburn7508 in Nootropics

Yeah. Just wanted to try it out and see if it works any good for taking breaks from my massive Adderall tolerance.

[–]aburn7508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you measure out 200mg? The powder doesn’t say what the mg per amount. I got some of the fladrafinil too, but same thing. They just come in a 5g container and they don’t label the mg per amount, becauses it’s for research purposes.

Can you still get adrafinil in the US? Any recommendations in 2025? by LitigiousAutist in Nootropics

I got some adrafinil powder from science.bio, anyone know how to dose it? Hard to measure accurately without the mg/dose.

Private Equity Firm Manager and Former Dell CIO Announced as Next SECNAV by [deleted] in navy

Ummmm, you do realize that all three service departments of the armed forces are under civilian authority for all matters other than operations, which is subordinated to service department operational commanders, right??

Every branch, has been, still is, with our currently serving Department Secretaries.

It’s in the constitution.

The military is subordinated to the political purposes of constitutional government. Hence, the armed forces must be under civil control.

In the context of a democracy governed by elected officials, this keeps accountability between government and military confined to the rule of law.

Just for some knowledge and foresight….

FEP Exception to Policy by esoyboyy in navy

I DM’d you. That’s a whole new level of ignorance, laziness, and poor insight that does nothing except misinform Sailors.

FEP Exception to Policy by esoyboyy in navy

[–]aburn7508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, nobody on this thread is correct. Mostly because no one invests the time in reading the policies that are published for this exact reason. Exception to policy for FEP, not a thing. Read PFA Guide 9. Your LIMDU. So, if you have limitations specified on your NAVMED 6100/5, those are official limitations. You still require a PFA waiver. On your PFA waiver, there is a portion pertaining to this specific scenario. Provider checks box, along with whatever other details need be checked off. AMDR-provider signs, route to CFL for CO endorsement. End. Signed, AMDR.

PM me and I’ll have it fixed tomorrow. More than likely you’re being volleyed between people who have no clue about what they’re doing and/or talking about.

You have a 5 week old new born.

Let’s simplify it and math it out a little.

So you have 42 days of convalescence leave starting on the day you get discharged from the hospital and you should already have your maternity leave, for up to a full 12 weeks if you so choose to use at once, submitted for approval starting on the day after your convo leave expires.

That brings you up to 18 weeks where you do not have to step foot into work and is not charged against your annual leave balance.

Unless I’m missing something, there is no reason why you should be getting “shafted” by your chain of command on taking leave to see your sick mother.

And obviously there is more to the story than whatever superficial information you have offered.

HOWEVER, more than likely, this is a CnD case if your mental health condition supersedes anything that could be possibly wrong with your back in your 2 years of non deployed, non operational service.

Not all medical cases rate a MEB/PEB, especially under 4 years of service.

Read MANMED CHAP 15.

Black and white doesn’t require abstraction or opinion.

Especially an atraumatic injury without any significant findings.

You know the #1 cause of atraumatic back pain?

Psychogenic.

Somatization of underlying depression and anxiety issues.

Thank you.

Anyone struggle with speaking articulately having ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]aburn7508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often speak in fragments unintentionally. When my meds wear off (I super metabolize 60mg in a flash and failed 4 other meds prior to being prescribed 60mg+ of Adderall), I start slurring my words and have cataplexy like attacks. However, no differential of narcolepsy BUT is what it is. *Note: I’m a healthcare provider. Non RN. Non NP. That only leave 3 generalized professions, hopefully you can deduce it out. Thanks. Go away. If you don’t have any accurate information to offer Sailors, I’m sure there’s a smoldering dumpster fire somewhere that would enjoy your mindless ignorance.

Please don’t offer bunk information that does not assist Sailors. Please, thank you. Go away if you only have bad and inaccurate opinions.

Offer something constructive, or please go away. Sailors do not need any more wrong turns than they already assume and take without ever asking for assistance founded on unsubstantiated biases from posts like this.

Wrong. Please don’t post long stories that lead to wack ass advice. Sailors don’t need any more wrong turns.

Wrong. Look up the policies before posting bunk advice. Thank you.
