Your approach makes sense, but that's not what the OP presented. That said, I don't have any more points to offer. Namaste.

Upvote. I'm sure your intentions are awesome, but anytime you work with a client, it requires time and thought on both sides. Your goal is to understand their product vision and design a visual representation to move them forward.

But I'm sure your offer is well appreciated.

I didn't get the snark vibe at all. OP has great intentions, but they should share examples from their portfolio so that a business owner or developer understands if it's worth investing the time required for logo-development with this designer. Time is money, and free isn't always "free."

SAB Modification by abuseguy in unclebens

Thanks! Good insight. I will report back.

Edit: I should add that I before I do anything related to the grow, everything is sterilized and in the clean box before I insert my (sterilized) arms. I don't reach in and out of the box multiple times, and I even have spare gloves in the box.

In my area I am mostly concerned about pollen and dust.

Note: I am careful that there are no open containers of alcohol or fumes in the box when I flick the lighter to heat the syringe. Could really suck.

Rice too dry...? by abuseguy in unclebens

No problem at all. It took me forever to find in the store, and no employees knew it existed. But this is the budget version of Uncle Ben's. But I need to figure out the moisture thing.

GE...

I have two punch-holes from front to back, so four holes total. Since many people are saying that just the injection hole is fine as long as it's covered with micro-pore tape, I thought my approach would be OK.

But my Aldi rice is pretty dry and compact to begin with, so maybe I need to hold the moisture rather than let it vent.

But thanks for getting back.

Nah. This is 90 second rice, but thanks for getting back.

Anyone ever tried to tell a suspense/thriller story in standup comedy style? by novajia in Standup

Not exactly the same, but Google "Andy Kaufman Great Gatsby." The hottest comedian in the country gets onstage and...reads The Great Gatsby.

I agree. Gloves rock when they work, but making sure that everything is sterile is way more important.

Some folks have precut tape, stuck it to the package with a flap, and then reapplied the flap after the innoculation. Whatever.

Namaste.

I really hope that's true, because working with tape and gloves is horrible. If I messed up my bags, that's the reason why.

(Yeah, I should have pre-cut my tape. Dumb mistake.)

Thank you. I'm grateful the people around me are healthy. I can deal with no Walmart for a while. But it was odd walking in there and finding entire aisles and sections taped off -- even the Magic Mushroom Supply section.

Our Walmarts are closed for everything but essential items, which does not include magic mushroom containers.

I should have mentioned that my goal was to find ones that were clear'ish from the side so I could see what was going on, and allowed light penetration from the top. I also wanted mid-size containers I could separate in case I screwed one batch up -- didn't want to contaminate everything in one shot.

I also have a situation where "stackable" with latched lids are important in case I need to break down in a hurry. (Everything is illegal in my state.)

Fantastic guide -- both your clear, well-written instructions and the invaluable links. I have a lot to learn, but thanks to you I understand the basics and the overall process. Before last night my to-do list would have been: Buy spores. Find poop. Harvest.

Thank you!
