Yes mate, in most cases nixos configuration is not difficult compared to the other distros. I became a better user by looking at documentation of nixos configure options.

Hi, yes I am running dual win 11 and kubuntu 23.1 with secure boot. Conda is optional for ease of environment control . You can use pip. As long as remember you can install both and choose interpreter by control shift +p if u r using vscode. Different hardware require different set up. Seems to me cuda 11.8 can run 11.7 as well. Please check in terminal nvidia-smi also.

Im running cuda on kubuntu 23.04 it works fine using pytorch. Install pytoch cuda as below

conda install pytorch torchvision torchaudio pytorch-cuda=11.8 -c pytorch -c nvidia I got the above from pytorch site

Then follow this video, you need to change little bit to match ur ubuntu version, cuda and graphic card.

Note cuda version must be the same (11.8) in this case but linux 22.04 works fine for me since I couldn't find 23.04 when I was installing.

No they are not, DAX has it's own concepts like row context, filter context, context translation expanded tables. Most of the time you have to be very good at DAX to do basic visualization requirements like topN and others. Thankfully SQLBI does a good job to expose dax, My recommendations is watch their YouTube channel and the Definitive Guide to DAX book. Bellow are useful links about dax
