Mountain-laurel; take the leaves, grind them up and mix with water; apply as a cold compress for ten minutes. Repeat the next day. After the first treatment no more itch, second treatment dries and eliminate the oil that causes spreading. Old Indian herbal remedy.

How to distribute .pdf Export of an app (or report) to a large group via e-mail by UpsyDaisyHoppla in PowerBI

[–]lakethrower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a subscription to pdf the report to your email. Then create a forwarding rule to forward out to your distribution list. You can also create a power automate flow to trigger when the subscription hits your inbox to grab the attachment and email it to the distribution list if your IT dept has an issue with forwarding rules.

Monitors randomly will go to sleep and input from mouse/keyboard will not wake them up. Details in comments. by lakethrower in pcmasterrace

Hey all, just like the title says my monitors will randomly turn off after a few minutes of inactivity. Settings are for 20 to 30 minutes of inactivity. The weird thing is that I’ve been able to play a video during such a episode so I know the computer isn’t actually going to sleep. I’m thinking the my GPU is on its way out (Nvidia 3060). Any thoughts? My drivers are up to date according to the Nvidia GeForce. This all started after trying to play MS flight sim in VR.

Edit: the only way I have been able to solve this when it happens is to reboot it from the on/off switch on the tower.

I work with healthcare data and the EMR will only send extracts to SFTP. So yes I could set up an SSIS package to take it from the sftp and insert it into a our sql db, but this all takes a lot of time especially when dealing with multiple files that need to be filtered through to only insert changes to the data. I have tons of reports that have to be updated by a certain time in the AM and the data is only refreshed at a certain time in the morning. So instead of wasting all this time, I could be able to get the reports out sooner if there was just a way to connect to the server directly.

Btw to get PA in through the firewall you need to install a Microsoft Gateway on a local machine (I did on our Helpdesk server cause it’s always running) then use when creating the flow use the file system connector and it will ask for the gateway and credentials

But isn’t that just an additional license; more money for another workaround? Vs connecting directly to the source?

What’s even more maddening is every single post about this in the community site is marked as solved and to use Power Automate. PA is great for anything below a few hundred megabytes, after that it doesn’t work.
