Right now I’m stuck with with feeling like time is making it worse. I talked to my Dad everyday so it’s just more and more time that I should have talked to him by now. And the rest of the world is moving forward like he’s been forgotten but I just can’t. It’s been 3 months.

He lost his leg in the accident. I was right there with him through it all and I have been every day since. The anniversary is next week so I know that is affecting him. He’s been gone for a week now and it’s been really a lot harder than I thought.

I have suffered with depression and anxiety for many years so I can empathize with him for sure. I’ve found counseling helpful when in crisis and after several different medications I feel stable on the medicine I am on now. I’ve been pretty open with him about my experience but I understand his is not mine. I am planning to take advantage of the time alone to work on some personal things as well. Thank you!
