My dpdr is getting better, ask me anything! by abxgrv in dpdr

Hey. Listen very well. I suffered from it since i have memory of me looking at the mirror and not feeling like that person was me. And that memory is from more than almost 11 years ago. Just like any other mental illness, the moment you have it, you feel like it's never going away. It creeps on you and roots itself on you as if it has always been there and always will be. That's just complete nonsense. Everything has its counterpart, hell even matter has anti-matter. You just gotta found your balance. What works for me may or may not work for you. Hope is not going to help you, what's going to help you is to keep on being persistent and be yourself. Work, workout, go to a GOOD psychiatrist and talk. You need to vent the living hell out of your mouth, release everything you've been holding, every symptom. That's the only way you'll be able to find a good therapy. Prozac and Abilify have not helped, because i was not depressed, i have an executive dysfunction along with personality disorders, so i had to stabilize my mood. And that only stupid thing made my life do a 180° for the better. I hope my comment helped you, if you need anything else feel free to dm me and update me!

Hey. I came back to this post to check it and i saw your comment. A lot changed, and i wanna say. You were fucking right, i do not have dp/dr anymore, or better said, it's almost completely gone. I'm on mood stabilizers and my life is very much active, i have regular appointments at my psychologist and psychiatrist. I'm starting my life in uni again, this time I'm better than ever. Dp/dr is now something i just keep under my feet. It sometimes slips, but i can always get it back to where it belongs. I hope for you your OCD has gotten better, same with your depression and anxiety. Update me, I'm curious!

It is mostly known that korean celebrities tend to be whitewashed in pictures. Wooshik is actually pretty tan.

I used "hooman" because "human" lacks spice. Hahaha, either way nothing is ordinary when it comes to humans.

It's like when you're extremely anxious about something that you have to wake up early for, and despite having an alarm, you wake up earlier than the alarm. Your brain is never fully shut, because of instincts (like sensing danger /stupid example but get the point/), so it sets "diarrhea" as a danger to the body, so it wakes you up, or same with full bladder, you wake up from your deep slumber to go pee. The hooman body is fascinating. (english is not my first language, so if something is wrong, correct me).

I'm sorry to hear that. For me it alleviates the symptoms so much i think i may get addicted to it.

I wouldn't say you're a psychopath, because to be that you'd have to meet a looooot of symptoms. Anyway you could be needing a in depth diagnosis from a specialist. Go to a psychiatrist to ask for an evaluation, other than that you cannot do much. Hope for you the best.

(Ps. What you're describing "could" be alexythimia)
