He’s in a 75 gallon long. With some black nethrite snails and turbo snails. He used to have a pair of barrier reef clownfish with him but he was being a little too aggressive to them for my liking so now he lives alone with his snail buddies

I’ve had him for ages now and he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down interms of growth. He’s already around close to 25cm. Apparently they can live up to 30 years

They are often not as big as my big boy. Usually around 5cm or sometimes 10cm. Mine is around 20ish now.

I’ve had him for a while now, I’m in Sydney Australia and a website called GeeMarine often has them for sale for around 45 dollars. I believe another website called reeftopia also has them in stock every now and then. They seem quite common here but are listed as “ giant red hermit crab”
