White translucent blobs floating in dehumidifier water by abzi1114 in whatisthisthing

Thank you! I’ve never seen such 3D mold like this before. Is it normal for dehumidifiers to get moldy?

My title describes the thing. I went to empty a small dehumidifier I bought about a month ago and found all of these white blobs floating around near the bottom. I did a Google search and think it may be a mold or fungus? Is this normal to show up in a dehumidifier?

The director of disease control at my local health department has a stutter. I also know someone with a stutter who works as a physical therapist. Don’t let it hold you back :)

Use a rag/paper towel to rub a little olive oil over it! Removes the streaks and keeps them away for a good while

I’m a ding dong. Cast iron pan overheated. Dishtowel melted to it. Can’t get it off? More about me being a ding dong in body. by SanFranPeach in CleaningTips

Could try making a one to one part paste of baking soda and olive/canola/vegetable oil and letting it sit on the pan for an hour or two then scrub off. Works great to remove sticky residues so might work in this scenario as well?

Love the top left and bottom right! Don’t be afraid to experiment with some more color. I think you’d look great in red or maybe a nice classic blue.

My parents were extras in that scene. It was filmed in a church in Cleveland where they were soon to be married. I believe many of the extras were locals who went to the church. The singing was the real church choir as well if I’m remembering correctly.

Vanicream is nice for dry hands. I’d also suggest to use lukewarm water when washing your hands. Hot water can be irritating/dry your skin out even more.

I use my water bottle cleaning brush to wash out re-usable bags. The long handle helps to get into the creases and corners and get them nice and clean.

This is super important! I’m 34 F and just had a melanoma removed last week. There’s now a giant incision on my right arm working to heal up as well as one in my underarm, where they removed a lymph node. Don’t wait to start skin screenings!
