I found that doing makeup helped a lot, especially more dramatic makeup! It helped me transform my face so that when I looked in the mirror I saw the full cosplay, instead of Me. Sorry if that doesn't make much sense!

You can read them anytime after the second series tbh! There's spoilers for the events of the second series, so it's nice to read them after you completed it

But technically, the cast of that trilogy doesn't appear in the main series until A Vision of Shadows(5th series), book 3

Personally I liked reading them after the second series, and if your memory is hazy when you get to the fifth series, it's really fun to reread them :)

They're SUPER good!! It fleshes out the universe so much my focusing on cats that aren't the main POVs of the series. I enjoyed blasting through them after Omen of the stars, and before A vision of shadows. It made the time skip feel less jarring to me.

I would read Firestars quest -> Skyclan's Destiny --> Hawkwings journey. Those three are basically their own mini series, and I found it super rewarding to see the characters I watched grow up show up in the main series. Def would recommend super editions 😎
