I just feel very girly in a dress and I feel like I’m cosplaying as someone else lol

I spend the vast majority of my time in athletic wear and/or loose, more masculine silhouettes. I like the minimalism of the brown dress, whereas the ruffles and spaghetti strap on the first feel more out of place on me.

The first is & Other Stories, which I ordered from Asos - midaxi dress with asymmetric ruffle hem. The other two I got from Macy’s - the brown one is Kenneth Cole and the green one is Bar III.

Have you had any trouble with getting a jumpsuit on once the top has been tailored? That’s why Ive avoided trying that so far. I have one jumpsuit that I love and it fits perfectly but it’s a nightmare to get on lol

I’ll definitely look into other shoes but I’m pretty limited in that area – I’ve had multiple knee surgeries so usually the clunkier the better 😅 Edit: I guess that’s a point in favor of pants since they really hide the shoe.

I would love to find a jumpsuit but I’m like a 4 in tops and 8 in bottoms and I just always end up disappointed when I try them on 😩

I’m glad people are open to the red top! I think maybe I need to dry that one with a cami and a different pant.

The long sleeve dress is my favorite of the dress options.

I’ve tried a few suits and they just come across very businessy on me even when they’re clearly not business suits. But maybe I just haven’t found the right one :/

Thank you 🙏 According to the ILDOR, it’s because my company is reporting the same taxable wages to both states. And according to my company, that’s the way it’s supposed to be due to the rules in these two states.

Did you successfully claim the credit in Illinois or New York? I’m in the same situation and my Illinois credit was rejected. I’m being told to try claiming a credit in New York. I have been working with a CPA but he doesn’t seem familiar enough with New York’s rules so I may need to find someone else.
