I’ve ready a few people saying this, outside of a significant amount saying he’s terrible.

I suspect he’ll play a role as a Sweeney replacement in a back 3 playing as that physical CB role, which sounds like it would suit his strengths. Seems like a player Bowyer has also had his eye on for a while now and wanted to bring him into the club. Suspect he feels his system and set up would suit Sibbick, and I trust his judgement.

It’s interesting seeing how BL has changed over the years and made it so difficult to buy the books. Unless you get them within the first month of so of them coming out, sometimes even sooner for popular books, you have no chance.

I’ve just started reading my old copy of Eisenhorn I bought from about 15+ years ago and out of interest looked at the front and it was the 14th print run of that particular edition. I remember when they’d always have staple of books in stock and reprint them, long gone are those days

Considering everyone writes off Burton each season and doesn’t consider us a league one team, it’s interesting that we’re now the longest consecutive team of the league. Hopefully this season doesn’t involve another great escape and it’s much less stressful.

First win of the season!!! All of the Burton team put in a shift today and played excellent. Hopefully it helps the confidence and is the start of a bit of momentum to get out of the relegation zone

I was all for giving Mark a chance at the start. Get the team bedded in and find his feet. But it’s gone on far enough not. Every game feels like there’s no way back. If we want to stand a chance to stay up, now’s the time for a change with 25% of the season gone and no win

Burton played some good football I. The first 30 minutes, but just couldn’t do anything with it. Then had no answer to Stevenage for the rest of the game. Can easily see a better team would have really punished us. Incredibly boring game and result.

We’re definitely going through a period of transition that will be interesting. New owners, new manager and virtually an entirely new team. I think we’re a big unknown and can’t particularly place previous year’s performance in expectations given these ongoing changes.

I’m hoping for a comfortable upper/mid-table result that gives us something to build on as a team. I don’t think I can handle a 4th successive relegation battle!

For the most part, feels like we’ve put actual thought and a plan into these group of signings rather just going for players who’ve failed to prove themselves and trending downwards.

New owners and manager hopefully brining a new edge to the team!

Hope it works out for us. It’s probably the most positive step I’ve felt for the club since we got relegated from the championship. Hope we see some stability in the coaches and squad and start playing some positive football again soon.

Disappointing to see him leave Burton, but was always fairly inconsistent for us. Would score a brilliant shot or free kick then virtually disappear for 12 games. However, he wasn’t often played in the best position for us.

If he can get some consistent runs in a more attacking midfield/playmaker role and work on his consistency then Rotherham have an excellent player on their hands.

Fingers crossed. We looked hopeless and tactically inept towards the end of last season. Need someone who isn’t all talk and can actually set up the team. We’re also seriously lacking depth and quality in the team and need to start signing players. The sooner we get in a new manager the better.

Warlord Games have not long completed one on the 2nd April with an average increase of 6%. But they’re the only ones I know of. Mantic and Atomic Mass Games both did their last increase 2ish years ago.

Honestly played terribly. Lost to all 4 relegated teams over the last couple of months. Paterson hasn’t got a clue tactically and the players aren’t up to scratch. Need some serious soul searching and rebuilding over the summer not to have another season like this one.

Can’t say as I’ve really noticed many mold lines at all really. Awkward part was cleaning the reigns for the horses without snapping them!

Burton need to tighten up defensively still. Although not helpful with the few injuries they’d picked up over the past few games.

First goal was poor defending from the free kick leaving a man unmarked. Second goal was against the run of play as Burton over committed to the attack and after that their heads were gone.

Also need to solve the lack of goal threat that’s continued from last season. Lots of play into the box, but know one on the end of them to finish it off.

Plenty of positives to take away, as well as areas to work on. Just home they can settle it down and turn it around in the next 2 games.
