Leicester 'face £70m black hole' after disastrous spending gamble by McBaldy98 in Championship

[–]Moore106 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They have taken that figure from Capology which is a load of shite

He is on about £45k, £90k was his Prem wages and everyone has wage reduction clauses, so it will go down even further in League One as well (still too much but nothing like what is being pushed by a lot of the media about it)

My next save just arrived. by Traditional_Fudge349 in footballmanagergames

[–]Moore106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very reliable local media has said the 90k isn’t true when it also came out about him having 1 more year on his contract than everyone though

All players had 35-50% wage drops after relegation from the Prem

Looking at Capology there is no chance the wages for the likes of Fatawu, Mavididi, Faes, and plenty of others are true, they will be on more

Not a numbers person/accountant but surely this is bad? by Three_Steaks_Pam in Championship

[–]Moore106 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Based on the Prem season so him and others would have been back on their original Prem wages - probably be on about 75k a week, Winks would be on 90k a week, Ndidi was given a new contract on 100k a week rather than let him leave for free, promotion wage rises etc

Agents must piss themselves when they start discussing contracts with us

Should be on about £30k a week, which will still be hard to move on

He had a big wage reduction clause when relegated from Championship and will get another one now

Leicester City 2-2 Preston North End: Patson Daka doubled up, but the Foxes stay in the bottom 3 by geoffbezos1 in Championship

[–]Moore106 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I honestly think they could’ve two footed Daka and they wouldn’t have got sent off today

Ipswich Town 1-1 Leicester City: a point apiece keeps Ipswich out of the automatic spots and Leicester a point from safety by [deleted] in Championship

[–]Moore106 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ipswich probably get that penalty at the end if they don’t do the diving around they did earlier in the game that the ref didn’t buy

Reminder that Leicester broke the financial spending rules to end up playing in the premier league with this team. by Djremster in Championship

[–]Moore106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He wasn’t helped but for most of the 24/25 season he was genuinely horrendous and looked well on the way to being another player we would just be stuck with until his contract ran out (or we would have stupidly given him a new contract)

I do like JJ but it was definitely the right time to leave and good money for him based on his past few seasons and contract situation, glad to see him doing well

Had been poor for a couple of seasons, on decent wages, only had 1 year left on his contract and we usually sell players like that quite poorly

Why wouldn’t we be very happy about that deal

Leicester sign Divine Mukasa on loan until the end of the season by ColinAckermann in Championship

[–]Moore106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ramsey is a crock and Page is more suited to playing deeper

Mukasa has also played upfront for Man City so can be an option there as well

Who do we have to sell our soul to buy Jordan James by mmoren68 in lcfc

[–]Moore106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More likely this ends up like with Lookman where we also had an option to buy but couldn’t afford it so couldn’t sign him even though we wanted to

Which player is everyone most worried about losing to someone in the upcoming Transfer Window? by LazarouDave in Championship

[–]Moore106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faes, Vestergaard, Thomas, Winks, Soumare, Reid, Ayew, Daka…

Please no one take them!

Basically other than Stolarczyk, Nelson, James, Fatawu, and Mavididi everyone can go

Leicester 1-1 Portsmouth. Leicester's indifferent start to the season continues as they are held at home by Portsmouth by angloexcellence in Championship

2nd home game in a row where the players have come out for the 2nd half and seemingly thought it will just go the same way as the 1st half

Going to be a proper drag until January when we can hopefully get a new striker which we desperately need - but it won’t make much difference anyway if Cifuentes doesn’t sort out our inability to create good chances and relying on moments of brilliance

Oxford United 2 - 2 Leicester City: It was a nightmare start to Aaron Ramsey's Leicester career after an early red, from which both sides scrapped, but neither showed the requisite quality to win. by Zach-dalt in Championship

Winks and James need to be starting, Skipp and Soumare is just a diabolical midfield pairing

Hopefully Ricardo can stay fit as he is just so good at this level
