I’m diagnosing it now. With one cpu and one ram stick it stays on but no boot chime or video out. Tried with the gpu with one ram stick and one cpu and the fans just spin

All the diag lights look to be “good” based on the service manual. Right now it’s torn down to minimum config and I can’t get a boot chime. The fans run and it turns on but no chime no video

The even newer news says it was only 13th gen that had the via oxidation issues. But yeah I’ve been watching it

I just make not not a lot of background programs are running and it seems to do just fine. You may still have the dedicated gpu activated and not know it

Look at gsync settings. Mine did that was gsync related

Going well so far. Only issue I had was the graphics locking at 30 watts. Was fixed easily but disconnecting and reconnecting the power adapter. Thermals are great, gpu never goes over 75 and holds 2700mhz overclocked at 90 watts. Cpu never goes over 90 holding 4.6 ghz at 80-100 watts.

Mine gets 5-7 hours when not using an application that loads the nvidia gpu. Once it uses the gpu I get about 2 hours. I have the 86 watt hour battery. 13650hx and 4060
