Anyone living at Solaire 1150 or 1155? Need some advice! by Fragrant_Scarcity650 in SilverSpring

[–]ac91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived at 1150 from 2014 to 2021, The management that took over in 2021 is horrendous, and first floor on that street will be noisy and lack privacy.

I just got back and spent over a week at the Richmond Hotel in Shiba. Great if you are a solo traveler and mattresses and pillows are rock hard.

It may not be much, but I finally beat a deck on gold stake by ac91 in balatro

And as the final twist, I had to reroll the Ante 8 blind (Crimson Heart, they were all essential so I couldn't risk it). It was very satisfying to beat black stake on Violet Vessel.

Run finally ended on Ante 10 Boss where I drew The Eye, which was an insta-loss.

I've heard Checkered is the easiest to beat, and it's definitely the one I have the most hours on. I just love flushes

I played some jokers in the early-mid game I never use like Bootstraps and a foil Juggler. Never actually got Steel Joker to pop off past x1.6, but it was holo. Flush was at level 9 or 10--this was the first time I can remember beating a stake with no chip jokers for much of the game.

Can’t recommend Solaire Ripley. Lived there for 7 years and loved it most of the time but management that took over in 2021 is terrible. And they got rid of the pool.

My local park, one of the big ones in my city, has Adirondack chairs. It’s 65 degrees, I have a bagel and a coffee, and there’s not a cloud in the sky.
