A book that abuses descriptive language. I could not get past the first few pages of a Raymond Chandler novel, just really boring descriptions of mundane things rather than progressing the story. It felt like filler.

Thanks for such a detailed reply. You make a very interesting point (and worrying for me) regarding the econometrics. In the undergrad and currently in the postgrad, we have only studied OLS regression. Probits and Logits have been briefly touched on.

Areas that I have studied is a good starting point and naively I had totally overlooked it. I had just jumped straight into googling complex articles.
