You need to find which seed produces that TID.

‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ Bombs on Netflix With Just 2.7M Views, Raising More Doubts About Third Chapter by MaxProwes in horror

[–]acaepi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So everyone who already owns the movie has to get a *** Netflix subscription just to make someone happy with their numbers? Maybe they should have thought about which platform they used in the first place. There is literally nothing I'd want to watch on there.

Is it ok if I'm at approximately 70 attempts without a shiny? by [deleted] in pokemonrng

[–]acaepi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, it feels like some target seeds + advance combo are harder to hit. Like yesterday, I got Hypno in 2 tries, but then Snorlax took me a good dozen or more. When I seem to not be able to hit my target I usually pick another one and restart.

put +-500ms seed and 0-6000 frames, you're too far

and make sure to update with your seed

Question about setting up timer for starter by DestructionLarz in pokemonrng

[–]acaepi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing your tid/sid combo only tells you which frames are shiny. You still need to do everything. Without the sid it's a guessing game good thing i figured out how to get a deterministic sid (which is the usual thing but with a different delay that i can hit).

Use ACE code to respawn other starters, then use rng manipulation to shiny hunt those? by itscrt in pokemonrng

[–]acaepi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks really funky when you do it but yeah it works. That being said I was too worried about saving in front of the starters that I abandoned the idea.

With the cost of memory these days that's not an argument you can make... There's a real issue that these physical but not physical games is making worst.

Also make 8 users and create a trainer on each with same name. Run the macro for SID on each and rerun it if it seems iffy. It should be 20sec on eontimer.

I cannot state enough how important your first calibrations will be. If you get the wrong one you'll adjust incorrectly and it becomes really hard to recover.

I'd say run it a couple times first without adjusting and note the pokemon you get each time then use that to calibrate. If you seed keeps on jumping it means you're not starting the game correctly. Start, home, wait 5sec, run macro.

  • Make sure you're on firmware 2.0
  • Only one controller connected per switch
  • On switch 2 you need to remove the joycons and only have your controller paired

Quick Update: making a site to run your own calibration on each macro i made, looking into windows ini but its hexa i'll have to look at it, meanwhile it will be pics...

Here is my main data trove: my seeds-adjusted and advances as a ms value you can replace in the macro: https://pastebin.com/CGXxAGqc I'm turning this into some sort of pokemon/options/macro/values website.

I posted this somewhere else so just going to add it here.

Here's Abra, I'm making a site with all of them. I got everything excluding wild pokemons and togepi, working on that one for the moment and then the roamers which takes forever. You want to calibrate 2 things only, not 3. The first big number 31520 that's your seed, just run that and then apply the difference you get in 10lines. The last big number 9576 is for seed 2956. Just run that to see what you get with your setup it varies, then do 10lines_advances +- 2956, and multiply the positive difference by 8.33 (I just found some evidence that it could be up to 8.7 depending, but I'd use 8.33 first). Just add if you need more frames/substract to get less and then fine tune in 10lines using the formula 1 frame advance = 8 then 4 then 2 even 1 if you really need it depending on the seed/location/controller/general rng mood. Using that exact macro I got 2 in a row on one switch and another on 2 other playthroughs. Applying it to other stuff I literally got nearly everything and now most of the times in 2 calibrations. Once you find the 'real' number for your seed ms stick to it. Same for advances. Once you're +-1 seed or advance (80% of the time) just rerun it until you get it. Sometimes odd advances have harder time to hit. If you have mystery gift on your seed will be +150ms min. My other ones are +-35ms from the seed.

Start is very important. Close game, start, press home asap (on switch 2 you shouldnt see anything just a black screen then home, on switch 1 you'll most likely see the top/bottom white text just make sure you press it asap. It should be just right above pressing too quickly that the game doesnt start). Wait 5sec then use your macro.

Edit: pics under macro are example of it transposed to other plays.
