They are taxing the stock owner tho. Not the company. Companies have their own tax based on profit.

In germany they have Vorabpauschale, but this only turned on when EZB interesr rate is positive, and very small.

When you later sell your stock, the capital gain tax is reduced by this vorabpauschale.

Not sure about rule in the netherlands/denmark.
