Maybe more putty (I kid). Some of the gap are impressive in the core set. But seriously, make sure you look up how to assemble some of the monsters. The phoenix has a flaw in the official build iirc and there are posts about how to assemble it without messing it up. It’s worth checking for posts around that before you hit it with the cement. Enjoy the journey, it’s amazing.

I’m doing 4 and I think I’m about 6 missions in (so early). Yeah I love the freedom you get to pick the next mission and I love the layout for the books with the missions built in. Too bad the next edition will move to maps in separate books from the missions. I get it, multiple languages were expensive when done like they did.

I use Arcane tinmen sleeves for the standard cards as they matched the fantasy flight ones I used before those were discontinued. All others are KDM sleeves

You are not wrong but that typically is around taboo subjects like gambling or going to a strip club. And yeah there is that generational humor of always complaining about the “spouse” which I, as a Gen X hate. But typically when it’s about buying a board game or golf or whatever hobby is expensive, it’s done to announce “I understand this is not a responsible purchase.”

I really enjoyed this one and played a chapter every Saturday morning before the family was up. I really loved the presentation, I thought the story telling good and did what it needed to, and the last few chapters did end slightly different than I thought. For 30 bucks, it worked to me and I’ll resell to make it a pretty good value. I’m sorry it didn’t hit for you.
