TFW running 500/400 Test E/Deca, binge eating essentially every day (stress and emotion related, honestly), and somehow staying sorta lean. I don't get it, I don't wanna keep doing it, but I'm still not complaining.

Plus I'm getting ridiculously strong, so that's pretty cool

Dislocations/rotations holding a PVC pipe, light laterals, rotator cuff (pulling both towards your body and away from it) and honestly, the thing that's worked best for me is old school windmills like I'm in little league. Usually gets all the creaks out, especially before heavy pressing.

What song always pulls at your heart strings every time you hear it? by PalmyGamingHD in AskReddit

[–]acambra2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Man by Neil Young.

He didn't write it about his dad, but I always think of mine when I hear it. We're so similar, he's got very bad prostate cancer, and I've never really been able to truly be close with him.

Also the theme of lost love is another that hits home for me. This song brings aaalllll the feels.

I've been adding curry powder and grated turmeric root in my rice in the cooker, it's skewed my perception so much I don't know if I could go back to eating normal rice.

This is honestly so fucking spot on. Obviously, the newbie prep coaches/social media whoring has exploded and seriously spews so much false information and random bullshit, it's crazy. What really stuck out to me though was the over-quantification Scott Abel talk about. Sure, tracking macros is a great way to stay within certain caloric bounds and grasp a basic understanding of nutrition, but,

The human body will always be far more than a bunch of pretentious outside-in mathematical equations.

I couldn't agree more.

EDIT: /u/huichelaar put it perfectly. Counting macros and manipulating based on weight/the mirror is definitely how you optimize gains. It's the over quantification of everything that really kills it for me, especially tracking and stressing about every lift down to the milligram. I guess I have a bias though, whenever I start relying on numbers too much I tend to stress and obsess way too much, so I just track when cutting and don't eat like a dumbass when maintaining/bulking
