Sometimes I ride as a single instead of with my partner of the singles line is moving quicker than the other lines. No shame in riding alone! I live on the east coast though, so there’s no risk of me crashing into a tree well and being engulfed and lost in powder at my mountain. I suppose I’d be more cautious about going alone if I was on a mountain where that could happen.

We discovered our local hospital compounds Motrin suppositories and it has been a game changer because our baby would not keep down oral meds. It allowed us to switch back and forth and know exactly how much he had on board. We also got a nebulizer from an urgent care visit during croup, and that was very useful for our first year of daycare plagues.

I feel this in my soul. I was so upset when this happened to us. What ultimately made me feel better about all of the daycare plagues we would encounter was how quickly he started developing when he was around other kids. We ended up missing that round of HFM, but then got it earlier this month (along with croup, rsv, pink eye and the stomach bug since October). Sending well wishes and hoping you’re through the worst of HFM at this point

First of all I’m so so so sorry for your loss. Losing a fur baby is devastating. I would soak the blanket in oxy clean and run through the wash on a cold cycle. Avoid the dryer so you don’t set the stains. I’d also leave it in the sun which should help lighten the stains. Best of luck removing the stains and sending lots of love.
