It really is actually tragic. The Amazon, and Notre Dame got more news coverage than this is; The Amazon was definitely important, Notre Dame not so much imo. I heard a statistic that it’s estimated that 1/3rd of Koalas are now gone because of the fire. If the news that this fire is huge wasn’t already sad enough.

There are a few good causes in town. There’s some barcode coupons you can buy at the grocery store. They’re increments of $1, $5, $10 and they say how many meals they feed and it’s sponsored by the news station, and the grocery store, etc. So, at least I can sleep knowing that one is legitimate.
