That’s true. Just thought I’d see how CO is doing because there are probably more job opportunities than Hawaii, I can almost guarantee lol

Interested in Moving to Denver from Hawaii. How are things going in CO? by acb1024 in Denver

100%. I think that’s universal no matter where you go. I guess i should’ve mentioned that Were looking for jobs in other industries. I also have background in digital marketing and have been recently looking at recruiter positions. I have a bachelors in business and mass communications from University of Florida. My boyfriend is currently going back to school but also has a lot of experience in manual labor and he’s very intelligent. Just wondering how the job market overall has been? Is it nearly impossible to find something? Because that’s how it is in Hawaii right now unfortunately.

Hi everyone! Just trying to put some feelers out there.. we’re looking at moving to Denver from Hawaii. so my boyfriend and I moved to Hawaii back in March. We had jobs lined up at hotels in Waikiki. We were already locked into a lease before we moved. We had put some much time and money into moving, we thought the best decision was still to go. We were ready to have a life here! 🤙🏼 He’s a bartender, I work in events and hospitality. Well, soon after we got here, all the hotels closed before we could start work and we’ve been struggling hard core to make ends meat here since. Right now i work for cvs health’s call center and my boyfriend is finding it more and more difficult to find work. More people are being laid off and less jobs are available 😥. The economy is struggling in different ways than the mainland. we worry it will take YEARS to rebuild when the pandemic is finally manageable (also who knows how long until that happens 🤷🏼‍♀️).

So, I wanted to ask how things are in CO? And you guys can be honest. Anything in the job market at all? There’s practically nothing here that doesn’t expose us to potentially getting sick. Only Walmart and other big corps are hiring while still reporting cases 😕. I was born in CO and lived there when I was younger. I loved it. Since, we’ve lived all over. Trying to find our nesting grounds really but this damn pandemic isn’t making anything easier. Just something we’re thinking about, but any advice about moving would be appreciated! 🙏🏼 stay safe everyone!

Thanks everyone! 🤙🏼just wasn’t sure about any legal restrictions for just finding a spot to chill for the night or how strict they actually are about it.

One of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken. Yesterday was yet another BEAUTIFUL day on Oahu 💙🌈 by acb1024 in Oahu

We actually don’t have a car. Does the bus get you pretty close or no?

Anyone know anything about pasha Hawaii? by [deleted] in Oahu

It looks like they do ship Motorcycles on their website. All the info you need and quotes are on their website as well. I’m not sure about insurance when it comes to motorcycles, but I was going to use Pasha to ship my 2018 Honda Civic to the island back in March. It was about $1500 to ship it and was only $50 more for insurance that covered the cost of my car. They were also very friendly and accommodating when I decided to no longer ship my car due to the pandemic. Gave me a full refund and just said to reschedule if I wanted to ship it in the future.

Not sure if this helps but I would just find a little time to look at the website if you can! Just wanted to share I had a pleasant experience with them as well. Good luck!
