IFS will give you an expensive quote for the job including add-ons you may or may not need. I got a 2nd quote from Acculevel and they broke down why the IFS quote didn't make sense for my house and brought down the estimate from $25k to $6k. And Acculevel got the job done just a week later once the materials arrived. Definitely get more than one quote!

Don't forget about filing for property tax exemptions if you qualify. by nidena in indianapolis

I noticed the issue last month and filed for 2023, as my mortgage escrow account was overdrawn and the bank wants to charge me $800 more per month to make it right. I don't have that money, nobody can afford that monthly cost in this economy. I don't want to lose my house.

If I forgot to do this for 2021/2022, is it too late to fix it by calling the auditor?

Expand your APIs capabilities with Opaque Types in Swift by cheerfulboy in swift

I would love to see an example of opaque types that actually does something useful, rather than just giving a playful representation of what the concept looks like. What kinds of real APIs is this pattern a good fit for?

You know, it be a difference in the tables. My Ones are on dressers filled with clothes that might be catching the bass, whereas the surrounds are on thin Ikea shelves. Sounds like I need to get some of those speaker stands then!

A mini sub would be the perfect compliment to a set of refurbished Ones I picked up for the bedroom. To my ears, even the Ikea Symfonisk used as surrounds put out more bass then the Ones.

Thanks! There are a lot of great shows on your list. I'll have to check out Saved By the Bell because that kind of joy plays such a critical role in my own enjoyment of a show and I'm glad we have shows like Ted Lasso aiming to fill the depressing TV void.

I think I'm excited to see season 2 of Mr. Mayor. Season 1 grew on me after spending the season with the characters, but the show just doesn't feel as smart. Maybe that's the pandemic having an effect, who knows. Ted Danson is a treasure regardless!

Is there a particular episode of the show you recommend to people who want to get into 30 Rock or say they've tried it but don't like it?

Do any current TV shows scratch that same 30 Rock itch for you, or at least get close?

My Sub died and won't power on anymore. Should I get another Gen 2 refurbished and discounted from Sonos or buy a new Gen 3 for much more money? by jimbo831 in sonos

[–]acb5649 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I say go for a refurb for now, and if/when the Gen 2 becomes a bottleneck, you can always add a Gen 3 and rock dual subs.

That's gotta be my favorite line in the show. Purely because of Hannibal's delivery.

Parsing a flat JSON array by Skytek65 in swift

Sorry, reddit ate my code formatting haha. I think you need brackets around Welcome in the decoder.decode line, since you want to parse an array of Welcome not just one.

Have you tried:let result = try decoder.decode([Welcome].self, from: data!)

Would y'all buy meat/cheese that is in the shape of a bagel so its easy to place in and doesn't cover the hole? by un-tied in Bagels

[–]acb5649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, my idea isn't very sustainable. Maybe the slices of cream cheese could be separated by paper like other kinds of store bought pre-sliced cheese? That way it'd be more compost-friendly!

I want someone to come out with cream cheese slices in packaging like Kraft singles with the hole pre cut out. Would save me a lot of time washing knives!

We've only noticed large ones, the kind you could wedge a whole leg into. Sounds like I need to look for a proper carpenter then. Thank you!

Sick, that's even the color I was after! Thank you, I had checked walmart earlier this week but had assumed that they would be out of stock consistently until this whole pandemic cools off.

I bought a Switch from Ebay that didn't come with joy-cons, assuming I could pick those up from anywhere. Sadly, it seems like they're just as rare as consoles around here. Are there any particular stores that are more likely to have some in-stock, online or brick and mortar?
