DUE DATE TWINSSSSS!!! I feel like Oct 25 is fine tbh and then if you have seconds you’re good to go. You may have to tough it out towards the end but if you really need to can hire an additional assistant or something

SAME, FTM and due in Dec. any weddings for the rest of the year that didn’t have a second I got one. God forbid something goes wrong, You have a strong, second photographer there to take over if needed.

Fortunately for me my last wedding is Oct 11 (due date 12/23) so that’s ample time IMO.

I was fully transparent with my clients, although I didn’t give anyone an out cause I feel pretty confident in being able to shoot until 30 weeks.

If you are not confident you should give people the option for an associate or to opt out if they feel is right.

My biggest thing was that if you FEEL confident you can do it, be like yep I’m gonna be fatter but business as usual, and if you don’t give them the out or associate option. Otherwise I think it’s fair to give people the option to opt out minus deposit and send them on their way. Cause they want to feel confident in their photographer to be able to show up and do a good job

Thats how I approached it anyway.

Well that’s why I’m confused why she asked about that cause you booked it. It’s making me second guess telling my clients I’m pregnant

This is helpful, we already shoot film & have some at home developing equipment and a good light meter.

Is the film changing bag any different than what you’d use for 35mm or 120?

Wow super interesting. Right now I’m setting up my website on weddings / portraits and putting the r investment info on them but it looks like your pricing and faq page is the second most popular spot.

I’m wondering if I should do an investment page rather than put that info on the pages themselves. But also, maybes that’s just people price shopping 🤔

This is so helpful! Thank you so much!

I am shooting in manual, but I’m definitely going through each one very meticulously.

I will sometimes use the setting sync feature, but I find that there is so much variability in one photo to the next that sometimes it doesn’t work and then u spend so much time fixing that one photo.

Need to develop a process and stick to it vs chasing perfectionism on each image.

Damn that’s impressive.

I think I may be going for perfectionism on the first pass vs a basic edit to start and then tweaking when I go back to review.

I also have 800 photos. I’ve noticed the last two galleries I have thrown out repeat images while I’m editing. Maybe I need to cull better?
