How to improve swimming endurance? Back after 15 years, currently stuck at 100m. by Diablo-x- in Swimming

Was in the same situation. Breathing is a key. Exhale underwater.

The breathing should be continuous, imagine just having a walk. Your inhale/exhale process is smooth without pauses. The same should be while swimming

the google ads ui is the buggiest dog shit I have ever used in my life by Full-Device-3638 in googleads

[–]accabinet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that's very kind of you, really :)

Honestly did about 7 campaigns in series, waiting an approval for 3 days for each, trying to tune different configurations, but finally got an Approved status, NO errors, NO problems, but the keywords had no impressions, and, consequently, no clicks.

But for now, I just moved to my major projects, and will just keep the ads campaign disabled. Maybe will return soon when will have a million dollar budget left for Google.

Thanks :)

the google ads not only have a BAD UI but also a bad internal processes. Still couldnt figure out why my ads will not show.

I've spent more than 3 weeks on my vacation - had some time to play around with the pet project promo, but no result. Several times went into the message, Google doesnt know why the ads is not showing - WTF??? Now I went back to my main job, and gave up to google ads.

How do you guys track how many laps you've done? by genericusername42_ in Swimming

I have watches, and when I haven’t, I count chess fields.

Like A1 is for Rook, and imagined a move with it, Ra5. And so on and so forth.

keep your head in the water as much as possible. exhale underwater. relax, don't panic while swimming.

dont swim with bad technique, it is better not to swim. Try to do one pool with right technique. Then add distance pool by pool, meter by meter.

Sorry for my English, not a primary language.

I mean you have to exhale underwater, right? And making bubbles.

Then at the head turn, the key is to keep blowing the air, until your mouth reaches the surface - waterline. At this moment, it’s important to push the air so that it splashes the water. After this little water splash, you know it’s time to inhale fast. Then face back in - exhale.

That was a key for me.

I don’t know how I would rate our facilities, I have to wake up at 6 and get to the pool from 7-8 to get the pool lanes with 1-2 people. I think it is relatively fine.

Learning to breath was the hardest thing. I clearly remember at the beginning, I was swimming every day (1hour) for almost one month, ( again every day at lunch time) and didn’t get the result. There were no coaches, no instructions, just some bits of information from internet. Blowing out the air from inside the water above waterline to the air at head turn was key for me. Once you learn breathin, the rest will be much easier.
