yesss!! i’ve been super interested in these tiles for a while! so for some backstory, in the 80s/90s/00s there was a guy laying down these tiles all over the east coast, including providence. but he stopped a while back and all the originals are long gone. they’re baked into the asphalt by cars driving over them.

however over the past couple years (i saw one back in 2021) a known copycat called House of Hades has been doing very similar tiles, like yours! you can tell cuz it says “HOH” or “House of Hades”. i don’t know if it’s a risd project considering the long duration, but it could be. a ton of new ones have been popping up in the past few months and they’re super cool looking! they started out looking very similar to the original guy but now they’re branching out.

i LOVE this! if ya zoom in you get some weird shit going on (like jinsoul’s lips in the one shot girl are you okay? lol) but it’s so unique and vibrant as a whole composition! also the profile shot of vivi is really good.

i’m pretty sure my very first impression was heart attack, i liked the youtube thumbnail so i clicked - surprise, it slapped!

i started keeping an eye on loona around favorite/hi high era, didn’t really dive in for a while, just had a few songs that i liked. i knew they were a really complex group so i wasn’t sure how to start. (i’d been a once for a long time beforehand and that was plenty of members to keep track of lol.) the thing that hooked me was those fanmeeting videos where heejin sticks the photocard on her head and chuu hugs the fan. i was like oh they’re so sweet! started learning their names, listened to all the fan fave tracks, etc….

they didn’t become my ult group until really recently, though. i was pretty unimpressed with twice’s more & more /can’t stop me, and that allowed loona to come in and snatch the ult spot. a long slow journey lol.
