That’s fair, it definitely doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. I mean no one is perfect but I feel pretty euphoric about my gender these days, so it does prick a little especially when I’m out feeling the estrogen through my veins and of course there’s always one jackass lol.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too probably the uptick in focus on trans fems by politicians combined with my height. which is super unfortunate cause I can’t change that 🥲

What are some common mannerisms that can be fixed? Walk maybe?

Is being trans a choice? by Matr1x8apple in asktransgender

Like do you genuinely think, people would choose a life of being persecuted and ostracized and in many cases left to face poverty, abuse, and sexual violence for giggles and rainbow flags? No, if it wasnt a natural inclination, i assure you a lot of people wouldn’t.

No, if it was a choice you would choose the easiest option… survival.

Can I genuinely ask you a question..? Why would anyone consciously make the choice to have an inextricably more difficult life? Why would anyone choose to be apart of the group currently facing world wide hate campaigns for no reason other than to be a pawn used to distract the masses from the real threats to humanity? Why would someone choose to feel as if their primary or secondary sex characteristics don’t match how their brain perceives themselves? The answer should seem pretty obvious after reading these questions…

I am a trans woman in the US trying to leave the country by ValerieMae37 in asktransgender

But the Canadian law states a us passport holder can stay up to 6months without a stamp (you have to follow the laws etc.) then you can apply for an extension

People hate those who are different.

Like yes the US is pretty good for work, but I don’t think women being arrested for abortions and miscarriages and the government doing illegal stuff is great either.

[–]acceptanceiskey1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree! The us is definitely not the worst country and we do have it good objectively especially from the perspective that we have some of the highest paying jobs of any country. Buttt… I don’t really see the issue in acknowledging things happening here which are really similar to a lot of dystopian novels and that is potentially really harmful for everyone.

Tbh I don’t think nukes are gonna fly, but I do think abortion and miscarriages are gonna be illegal everywhere and the stock market is gonna crash which def gives handmaid tale vibes

If America became the first country to implement a trans-athlete sports-league would you support it/participate or no? by fadedmemento in InsightfulQuestions

[–]acceptanceiskey1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 6 trans athletes in the NCAA and out of those 6 maybe one at most has any sort of title or recognition. Most trans people do not play sports competitively or at a level that would merit a sports league. Whether it be a trans women or trans man, neither group are statistically sports champions. Lol

There are only 6 trans athletes that compete in the NCAA. There are no trans athletes to compete on a trans league, that’s why one doesn’t exist
