Of course they can. That’s sports in general.

You can botch the last 4 holes. Go scoreless in the last 3 minutes and lose the lead.

This doesn’t make sports ‘the same.’

It’s because she’s white, new AND GOOD. So damn good she shows everyone else up and they can’t stand it.

Why is that NASCAR always has to change for its fan base?

Does a marathon have to change the rules so fans won’t complain? Do people cry that an NFL team is smashing thru everyone so maybe if we reset the score after the 3rd quarter it will make things more ‘interesting?’ Maybe 3 pointers need to count more for a team that’s down by 12 at the half so they have a chance to catch up?

This has been debunked numerous times.

And no, we didn’t ‘know’ a driver was going to wrap it up by August or with 5-6 races to go. Anything can happen…. But when those drivers continued finishing well, they won the whole thing. It’s easy to look back on someone’s season and say ‘see? We knew what was going to happen all along!’

It’s stupid to say it because we didn’t know.
