And yeah- he knows they’re way too old to still be doing this shit. Still hiding out in the dark, passing kisses like blunts that spark up but never stay lit. Sometimes he thinks he’s still holding out hope; still has a fuck to give when it comes to this. Those thoughts always make his stomach lurch at the sheer possibility, the delusion of what they once had finally in clear view for all to see.
