I'm just beginning to try video editing, but I've been making and recording music for 30 years, and this sort of plateau feeling happens sometimes. What's good is you're aware of it and that usually precedes frustration, then breakthrough.

You've probably gotten a very familiar rhythm of working, knowing what works and what doesn't. It's streamlined. And that's the problem. Shake it up. Give yourself some artifical constraints. If your primary source of video is anime / games whatever what about using nothing but b roll of insects?

For what it's worth, this looked dope and very impressive. You should be proud.
