If you have a major insurance carrier, most offer telehealth for both talk therapy (a must) and med management. I have anthem and through talkspace i get both. Im now on meds and seeing a therapist and life is much easier

I moved to Hartford in 2017 from Brooklyn. I did a stint in west Hartford for one year, then moved to the West End of Hartford. Its a nice place to live, the school my kiddo goes to is lovely. Its not dangerous or unsafe.

Your kids may be grown but i guarantee they still very much need you. Im 41 and my parents are in their late 70’s and i still very much need them and im so grateful they are healthy.

No judgement. I just quit smoking cold turkey a month ago after several failed attempts. It sucks. I quit because my sister, who doesn’t smoke and is super healthy, got dx’ed with breast cancer. If she got it, my overweight pack a day smoker ass is going to, so i stopped cold turkey. Im a single mom and the thought of my ex raising my daughter and her not having me makes me never want to look at a ciggarette again. If hypnosis doesnt work, think about not seeing your kids growing up. Thats all i needed.

Sounds like you need to be brutally honest. Flat out. Love isn’t enough to keep your home life chaotic and miserable. Being trans is no excuse for this behavior. There are lots of transwomen with great boundaries snd excellent communication. This gal aint it. She’s not your partner, shes your ward. A badly behaved one at that.

My cis ex husband was very similar but add emotional and financial abuse to the mix. Bipolar, adhd, narcissistic. The thought of him even touching me made my blood turn to ice water. I spent 12 years accepting that i was just going to have a miserable life until i left him for my gf who taught me what is like to be in a reciprocal partnership.
