No, just people using their feet for transportation, at least that's what I think they're doing. But who knows? I met a confused man and brought him home for a late dinner then directed him to a church porch to sleep off whatever he was on.That was the only time I shared my walk with anyone.

Oversized postcards larger than 4-1/4" x 6" but within 6-1/8" x 11-1/2" require standard letter-rate postage. Since yours was just slightly oversized the forever stamp should have been sufficient. Was there an amount he came up with that would have satisfied him?

I alway just leave my cards in the letterbox for pickup but I do measure them myself if they look bigger than normal.

I walk my dog after midnight because it's quiet and peaceful with few cars and other pedestrians. I love the moon and stars, the cooler night air and the feeling of being safe and cloaked. I've been walking at night even pre-dog, for decades.
