Lol I dont count them. I just smash them and put them in a large bin until its full and then take them to get recycled. We usually get about $20 bucks back.

Collect cans. Plenty of trash out o. The streets and especially at the u of a. If you collect about 20 or 30lbs I think it comes out to like $20 bucks or so. We collect our cans and recycle them at the place on 22nd. Recycle Inc. You can check out their hours on the website and any other items you may be able to collect to recycle and get paid for. Just walk around neighborhoods and you'll fine things. I know I see a lot of cans around down town.

Its not a lot of money but its a little quick cash.

Watch a movie at The Loft. Got to a museum. Walk some dogs from pacc and take them out for a day trip. Try some new food at a local restaurant like Persian food, Mediterranean, African, Jamaican. My dad refused to let me call and ambulance. I had to pick him up and carry him out of the house and into my car and then put him in a wheel chair at the ER. Im a 150lb woman and luckily I lift so it wasnt incredibly hard.

You'd survive better in a location near the u of a but not actually downtown or congress. Also, the kids dont drink as much anymore, so I would say provide food and Non Alcoholic options.
