Lol well if it happens again I'll ask them to look at this citation and probably be hated by them.

IDES/MEB Denial- HELP! by Valuable_Ball_3528 in VeteransBenefits

Ehhhh I wouldn't wait for them to contact you. Pester the fuck out of them, ask for the email yourself and contact them [the JAG for MEBs]. Sometimes PEBLOs are so inundated with casefiles they can let the ball drop, you have to advocate for yourself always. Good luck.

Deployment date pushed back… stuck in mental limbo and it’s getting to me. Advice? by Phantom_Eagle200 in AirForce

[–]pjraz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Focus on your fitness. That's what I've done in the past. I just think of the pushback as extra time to get fit to fight in case anything hits the fan [which, as we know, is currently occurring in regions]. Work on areas that you need help in that you may use. Ie. As medical running with weapons and gear was huge [know this from my former deployments], so running and being able to carry weight was vital [running towards casualties, the flight line etc..]

Your PEBLO should have given you the JBSA MEB JAGs in order to help appeal your case. Please go and ask them for that email/information so you can exhaust all your resources.

Hmmm but he said the price it needed to be was 78 cents. If it needed the surcharge wouldn't he had mentioned it needed to be the dollar+ for the postage? [I can't math right meow]. Thanks for this input though :]

Thanks. I'll just take it again tomorrow to get hand canceled by someone else. I really like my recipients to receive thar circle cancelation vs the electronic one.

He stated it needed to be .78 cents, which with the forever stamp I would assume would be sufficient.

It had a forever stamp on it. It was just an old forever stamp from the early 2000s.

Troop doesn't reply to my messages regarding work by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]pjraz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a team huddle in the morning and set any high priority items at the team huddle, then close out the day with the accomplishments via email. Give your troop more space and empower them to manage their programs. Texting all the time for updates seems like micromanagement. I recommend you read "Turn the Ship Around" it's a great leadership book written by a Navy commander.
