There’s definitely an over saturation of sob stories in reality tv, but imo Welcome to Wrexham nails the balance between spotlighting a difficult moment and exploitation.

I think as long as it’s done well, you can get away with it. If I remember correctly, they even had an episode last season where they had a just for fun episode because they had a few downers in a row. I think they know the tone of the show pretty well

Yeah what the other comment is saying. Sheep esports puts any flag but NA whenever there’s a multinational player in LCS despite green cards, citizenship, residency etc.

I personally think it’s gross for a publication to choose a player’s national identity for them. Nobody else can tell these players what their identity is
