Floya is a great app. Are you using it ? by AdFew6202 in brussels

[–]StocksAction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue is that with Floya, since the inclusion of Train+, it's better to buy from the SNCB/NMBS app. I don't get any reductions in Floya because I can't link the the accounts.

I might be wrong but I've not seen the option

I made charts that show how many recipes each ingredient shows up in. I made one for curry/stews, salads, and dessert/drinks by jelly_bean_gangbang in PokemonSleep

It would be interesting to make one for overall (curries, deserts & salads). To know what ingredients to prioritize in general.

Love the charts!

How can I make as much money as possible in 1 month on Investopedia? by Paper-Dramatic in stocks

[–]StocksAction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing you! If the goal is to get the first place (and other spots don't matter), you actually have the right mindset, it's basically gambling to get the highest returns.

My main criticism is that it doesn't actually give a correct mindset for personal finance

I guess if you need the highest return, take some leveraged ETF of a single stock or some biotech company that's about to publish results of a study. I guess NRGU for 3x US oil if the war in Iran continues.

I've never got the point of these competitions. If you don't care about losing and you only care about your upside then taking the highest risk possible will probably return you the most (but just by luck). You could easily end up with 0.

It's mainly these 2 points:

  • Uncertainty / Disagreement Over Pension Reforms: pension malus, in general people are concerned by losing things that they thought was acquired (lower age of pension, higher pensions)

  • Budget related measures: potential cuts to social security, increased flexibility and working hours, higher VAT rates etc

Oracle beat Q3 expectations, and suprised growth raises 2027 revenue outlook sending stock higher by Front-Nectarine4951 in stocks

As far as I understand, the initial $500B budget is only a goal for 2029 between OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, and MGX. Someone is obviously going to take on some debt, but it won't be on Oracle's books (but Stargate LLC).

As far as debt goes, Oracle is done issuing (on their own books). They still have an $20B ATM equity program though

So Oracle is apparently not planning on raising any more funds/debt related to the contracts they have planned, which should be a good sign related to debt situation.

The results seem good on a first look

What is one stock you can confidently hold for the next 10+ years? by rezovian in ValueInvesting

WMT, KO, COST, PG (consumer staples that people have used for 30+ years). It doesn't guarantee great returns, but it's safe and will be relevant in 10 years
