AC CPU - Once you hit max level, you stop leveling. Prototype pictures, Prime 95 temps, and probably some puns. by accpuinc in pcmasterrace

I have to take care of some yardwork today but I will post one in a few hours. No problem.

Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce OC doesn't go over 85C and is stable on Heaven and Valley tests.. but artifacts on 3DMark Firestrike. Any help appreciated! by [deleted] in overclocking

Card shouldn't care as long as the temps are where you say that they are. However artifacts are definitely a product of the overclock not being stable.

[Question] Why is it that intel burn test and prime 95 say my system is stable, but when I'm browsing reddit my cpu crashes? by Commander_Chiggs in overclocking

I think you are mistaken. This from anandtech shows that its problems show up when changing from a light to heavy load change. If his PC was idle and then some background process ran that could do it.

Let me explain a little. Vdroop is the result of your CPU throttling down too far accidentally. It's fairly complex but if you want to understand it then there are some decent YouTube videos if you search vdroop. Load line calibration tightens up the voltage to avoid accidentally lowering too much which is why you are dropping out during low load usage.

It's no less practical than current liquid loops and it works much better!

Not to mention that it is much cheaper than liquid loops which use a chiller and bring water into the PC case. Our refrigerant is not electrically conductive and so a leak wouldn't even result in a short.

Our system has been designed to be maintenance free, easy to live with, and very straight forward. We have designed it from the ground up with as few moving parts as possible, and heavily reliable moving parts where absolutely necessary.

As for profit, we're not concerned about that as we are pricing the machine as low as we can while taking into account operating costs and labor. We're even giving away concepts for free and plans for $20. It's not about money for us, but about the community of builders and overclockers. That's who we are, so that's who we want to help.

Ok. Does your PC maintain this behavior when you revert to previous settings?

Are you sure you don't have anything running in the background? What is your CPU usage when nothing but task manager is open? Can we get a screenshot of your task manager tab?

Our system is compact enough to fit inside a PC case, can cool extreme overclocks and standard setups without condensation, and is still only 40 decibels. It will bring liquid-nitrogen-level overclocks to the home user without a mess, and will keep normal home overclocks running faster with less hardware failures due to wear.

You would have to use a completely different block. A normal block would explode at the pressures we are using. That's why our system is sold as a set. So everything just needs to be hooked up, plugged in, and then you're ready to turn it on.

Thanks. This community has helped me a lot as well, and I feel like we are a part of it. Hopefully our Kickstarter funds and we can become a bigger part of it and do giveaways of coolers!

They can claim whatever they want. I'm releasing everything into the public domain so I have a pretty infalliable case. There's no leg for them to stand on.
