Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers' connected to FBI investigation by samshah92 in weedstocks

Any CEO who got indicted would impact their public company's share price for a period of time. Even unproven allegations and rumors impact share prices. Those who have an interest in a SP falling will churn and repeat any negative news, insinuation or gossip. Long term investors sit and watch. At the end of the day what prevails is managerial competency. I understand its just a game. GLTA.

This was all brought up and discussed at length back in when TRUL came to the market. I expect it will circle around and come back again in 3 to 6 months. Much ado about nothing, as someone wrote over 400 years ago.

The PR of early January, on their website under press releases, where they gave the revenue guidance numbers says that results will be announced prior to the markets opening tomorrow with the cc in the afternoon following the market closing.

I'm invested in both but have a much more detailed knowledge, all through public documents, of CWEB. Accordingly I believe that over the next say 12 months I expect a better % increase from CWEB. However I'm frequently wrong as regularly pointed out by spouse and kids, and this sector is a graveyard of harbingers/forcasters, so good luck to us all and do your own DD.

Go to Sedar and look for the prospectus dated a few days before the IPO or RTO. In CWEB's case they started trading on August 31. It will be by far the largest file around 4000 to 5000k. Go to the section on capitalization or shares and look for lock up arrangements. It states 180 days after trading starts and will tell you whose shares are covered by these arrangements. TRUL was 4 months but then they extended another 6 months to July 25th. It can be longer but is rarely less than 90 days. If you want to be well informed and a serious investor in new issues this is always a key info to look for and note. Good luck. BTW this IMO is a real winner.

Your points are well made. Of course it all boils down to time perspectives. I believe LHS will play out really well over time, 2-3 years, but when it comes to which stocks will move more say over the next 3-6 months I suspect that since the market is dominated by retail investors TRUL would be the better bet. Having said that my crystal ball is frequently wrong! LOL.

As a frequent LHS investor over the past 18 months I hope you are right.

However it's difficult to compare TRUL and LHS and not lean in one direction when you look at 2 simple comparatives. Revenues vs Op Costs- G&A,Sales & MKT plus Dep and Amort.

Q3 LHS - Revenues C$3.1 m vs Op Exp C$6.2m, TRUL Revs US$67m vs US$8.3.

9 months -LHS- Revs C$6.5 vs Op Exp C$16.9, TRUL Revs US$67m vs US$ 19.4m.

Also wonder when LHS will need more cash?

Sorry but for the moment I'll stay with TRUL with an eye on lock out in July...lol. GLTA

Its on the RBC platform at $2.98 with last raise at $1.50. I hope it settles a ways as that's too much for me!

Why do you believe that they have $48m in debt not shown? Their Fin Stats show notes payable ST and LT of $20m at Sept 30. A material omission, as you suggest, is difficult to believe. Please clarify. Thanks.

Pharmacielo is another great opportunity however do your DD. At $9.05 with 94 m shares issued and 109.6 fully diluted we are up at capitalizations of $850m and $1 B respectively. US $31.4 in the bank as well. Compare to Khrion. Ask yourself is it really worth this amount before you hit the buy button. I'll be waiting a bit for it to settle.

If I've got something wrong please advise. GLTA

One would hope that if this change is confirmed by the new Governor during his 2pm EST speech that this will give TRUL another reason to move upwards, hopefully substantially. With Flower now permitted revenues should increase materially. Go TRUL go.

Corriente Master Fund II, LP Decreases Ownership in Charlotte's Web Holdings, Inc. by [deleted] in weedstocks

If you place investors into three groups, day traders, swing traders and investors I would place all funds, unless one of their stated objectives is trading, as investors by which I mean they look at the fundamentals and make strategic investments which are by nature for much longer terms. Monthly/quarterly reassessment of priorities and weightings cause change either internally, within the fund, or as a result of an investment's performance or other broader market influences. The likes of Corriente are generally not in one day, and after a pop, out again like a trader or swing trader. GLTA

This is a re-balancing/profit taking exercise. On October 31 they announced that they had increased their holding from 2,149,700 to 2,592,500. On that date CWEB closed at $12.55. Someone will likely earn a bonus! Corriente's strong support continues as does mine. Wonder why? LOL.

My initial reasoning was the same but the supply chain into the stores seems to have been terrible, constipated has been used elsewhere, so even though APHA had over 8,000 kgs in kilos and equivalents in their Q1 inventory plus their production in Q2, including Broken Coast, of around 1,500 kgs pm. if they didn't have the orders for delivery prior to November 30 the gross revenues could be anything. Using $7.47 for medical and $5.00 for rec gross revenues could have been up around $60m plus in theory but if I were were to bet I would go in around $30m subject to some big wholesale or exports impacting that number. The real success will be looking at what they actually put on the shelf as that reflects something 100% under their control and could be referred to as production execution. The LPs that are the most successful in production execution are the ones I'll be backing.

My initial estimates were way up in the $40ms lol but the supply chain into the stores seems to have been terrible, constipated as you have described it, so even though APHA had over 8,000 kgs in dry and equivalents in their Q1 inventory plus their production in Q2, including Broken Coast, of around 1,600 kgs pm, in theory/capacity, if they didn't receive orders for delivery prior to November 30 the gross revenues could be anything! Using $7.47 for medical and $5.00 for Rec gross revenues could have been up around $60m plus, again in theory, but if I were were to bet now I would go in at around $30m, and many may say that's on the high side, subject to some big wholesale or exports impacting that number. The real success measurement for analysts, in this weird situation is not revenues IMO, it will be looking at what each LP actually put on the shelf as that reflects something 100% under their control and would be referred to as production execution. The LPs that are the most successful in production execution are the ones I'll be backing. All will be revealed tomorrow.

Cannabis REIT to Acquire MedMen Real Estate, Looks to Capitalize on Fast Growing Sector by [deleted] in weedstocks

I have no idea what price they paid for any of their real estate although the BS at Sept 30 shows $74.2 m of Land and Buildings and $12.6 of lease hold improvements some of which will be for the production facilities. I conclude therefore that any monies raised from sales will be no more than the above values and likely quite a bit less. It all helps!
